Country Club Fashions - Los Angeles, 1960s
Oh, how I wish I knew what came in this watch-sized box from the 60s. I found it in a consignment shop and it immediately evoked images of the country club my grandparents belonged to when I was a kid. Daisy flip-flops, yellow mylar wallpaper, skorts with turtles carrying golf clubs--you get the idea. I'm hoping that this housed some great piece of apres-golf jewelry like an owl pendant or seahorse. If only the damn thing could talk.
