Now we know how Thomas Hoving must have felt every time the Met acquired something really great. This classic Bloomies bag from the 1960s (we're guestimating here), is one of the best we've ever seen; both for its rarity and for being such a great example of the time from which it came.
We do have to wonder, though, where this gal shops when her eyes are open, not to mention how she pays with her eyes closed.
This is my favorite of all the Bloomie's bags. Never thought I'd see it again! I so wish I had one - I'd frame it and put it over the fireplace. Where did you find it?
