Sherry-Lehmann - New York City, 2010

Given Mlle Bagatelle's penchant for France, it would not be unreasonable to assume this bag is from the land of wine and cheese, however this is only half true. Wine, yes, cheese, not so much.

Interestingly, this lovely, portable little masterpiece is actually from famed liquor store Sherry-Lehmann and is probably more than familiar to most New Yorkers. In a nod to tradition, the 77-year-old institution still stocks something called "The Can-Can;" a tin of the same Toulouse-Lautrec painting that appears on the bag (Troupe de Mlle Egalantine), filled with four bottles of wine and something called a "Toulouse-Lautrec gift box." I have no idea what that actually is but I'm almost certain I want one.
